A high-ranking Russian military officer was killed in a car bomb attack in St. Petersburg, while his wife was seriously injured. This incident marks the third attack targeting senior military officials in recent weeks. Witnesses reported the explosion occurred shortly after the officer started the vehicle, scattering debris over a wide area. The attack took place in a residential area designated for military personnel, previously visited by Vladimir Putin. Authorities have not disclosed the officer's identity.
