Atacuri la Marea Neagră - Bulgaria cere NATO avioane de vânătoare şi sisteme antidrone
Bulgaria has requested NATO to deploy fighter jets, missile systems, and anti-drone equipment to enhance its defense against attacks on commercial vessels in the Black Sea. Defense Minister Dimitar Stoianov announced this during Air Force Day celebrations, emphasizing the need for additional forces on Bulgarian territory. Although no response has been received yet, he highlighted the limited capabilities of allies, including Romania and the Baltic states. Recent drone attacks on commercial ships have prompted NATO to focus more on Black Sea security. Stoianov noted that while NATO's resources can reduce risks, absolute protection is unattainable. Bulgaria is enhancing its surveillance capabilities with new detection systems.
