Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon resulted in 11 deaths, including two infants, despite a ceasefire agreement. The attacks intensified after Israel claimed control over a strategic position held by Hezbollah. A residential building was destroyed in Kfar Remmane, killing nine, while two rescuers died in the same area. Residents, who had recently returned home, expressed fear and concern over the violence. The Israeli military had previously warned residents in a nearby village before conducting strikes targeting Hezbollah. Despite a reduction in hostilities since June, sporadic attacks continue, with over 4,300 reported deaths in Lebanon due to Israeli reprisals. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun called for international intervention to halt the escalation.
