At least 31 people, including 16 police officers, were killed and over 100 injured in a suicide bombing followed by gunfire at a police station in northwest Pakistan. The attack occurred in Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, when an explosive-laden vehicle struck near the police station's mosque. Armed assailants then attempted to enter the police complex, leading to a firefight with security forces. The Pakistani Taliban faction, TTP, claimed responsibility for the bombing and subsequent assault.
