Atac cu pietre la un dig panoramic din Arad: Aproape toate cele 300 de panouri de sticlă securizată au fost sparte

Nearly all of the 300 glass panels forming a panoramic dike along the Mureș River in Arad have been damaged due to vandalism. The dike, completed five years ago with European funding, was designed to improve flood risk management. Local residents reported that the vandalism occurred mainly during evenings when youths gathered in the park. The local police have increased patrols in the area, but no solutions have been reported yet. The costs for repairs have not been evaluated, and a decision on replacing the panels will be made by a designated committee. Despite the damage, the panels are expected to withstand water pressure during floods.
