Two commercial vessels were attacked by drones in Bulgaria's Exclusive Economic Zone, resulting in one sinking and the crew of the other being rescued. A large-scale rescue operation is underway near Cape St. Atanas and Byala. This incident marks the first drone attack on ships in Bulgaria's waters. The vessels targeted were the general cargo ship ALFA WATAN, which sank, and the ABLE, which caught fire. The Romanian Coast Guard is assisting in the rescue efforts, with some crew members injured and receiving medical attention.
