A 14-year-old student opened fire at a school in Aubagne, France, injuring the principal and a teacher before being apprehended. The incident occurred at Joseph-Lakanal College, where the attacker entered with a shotgun concealed in a guitar case. The principal, aged 53, was shot in the thighs and back, while a 37-year-old teacher was hit in the thigh. A third person sustained minor injuries, and several students are receiving psychological support. Education Minister Edouard Geffray condemned the attack as unacceptable and emphasized the need for collective action against rising violence in society.
