Asociația Prosumatorilor propune Parlamentului TVA zero pentru sistemele fotovoltaice si baterii

The Association of Prosumers and Energy Communities (APCE) urges the Romanian Parliament to urgently adopt a tax package inspired by Germany's model, allowing 0% VAT on photovoltaic systems up to 27 kW and related storage batteries. This initiative is based on EU Directive 2022/542, which permits member states to apply zero VAT for solar installations. APCE highlights the need for Romania to accelerate investments in distributed energy production and storage, especially in light of recent energy vulnerabilities. The proposed measures aim to stimulate private investments and enhance energy security, with an estimated annual impact of 96,000 new solar systems installed and 614 million euros mobilized in private investments.
