Asociaţia Prosumatorilor propune Parlamentului să legifereze TVA zero pentru sistemele fotovoltaice şi baterii

The Association of Prosumers and Energy Communities urges the Romanian Parliament to urgently adopt a tax package allowing 0% VAT on photovoltaic systems and storage batteries. This initiative is based on EU Directive 2022/542, which permits member states to apply zero VAT for such installations. The proposal aims to accelerate investments in distributed energy production and storage, addressing vulnerabilities in Romania's energy system. The association estimates that implementing this measure could lead to significant increases in installed capacity and private investments, while also enhancing energy security and reducing reliance on imports.
