Asociația Prosumatorilor cere TVA zero pentru sistemele fotovoltaice și baterii: România nu poate aștepta ploaia pentru a avea energie sigură

The Association of Prosumers urges the Romanian Parliament to implement a zero VAT rate for photovoltaic systems and storage batteries, inspired by Germany's model. This proposal aligns with EU Directive 2022/542, which allows member states to apply a 0% VAT rate for such installations. The association argues that this measure would encourage private investments and enhance energy production and storage capacities in Romania. They plan to submit a legislative package in the autumn session, targeting individuals, NGOs, and public institutions. The estimated impact includes the installation of 96,000 new photovoltaic systems and mobilization of around 614 million euros in private investments.
