An AI-based system will be tested at Piatra-Neamț Emergency County Hospital to improve patient access to medical information and services. The AI assistant will operate 24/7, providing details about departments, doctors, and appointment scheduling. It aims to enhance patient interaction with healthcare services, offering real-time information and guidance. The project will initially focus on the outpatient clinic, with plans to redirect cases from the emergency unit to specialized consultations. The pilot program will run until December 31, 2026, with a monthly cost of 4,200 lei, funded by the hospital and local health insurance.
