Romania's 2027 state budget will be the first created using the new electronic application BugetNG, funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. Finance Minister Alexandru Nazare announced that ministries have started entering data into the system, which aims to enhance transparency and allow for detailed financial analysis. The application was completed at the end of August and will facilitate better monitoring of public spending. Nazare emphasized that while data entry may be more complex, it will provide a clearer overview of budget expenditures. A calendar for the 2027 budget will soon be proposed to the Prime Minister.
