On November 3, manuscripts and heritage items from the George Enescu Museum began being transferred from containers in Bucharest to specialized conservation spaces in Iași. This relocation, facilitated by the Ministry of Culture, allows for ongoing restoration work at the Cantacuzino Palace and the George Enescu Memorial House. The collection includes musical scores, correspondence, photographs, and various art objects, all of which will be stored under controlled conditions. The transfer is being conducted by an international firm experienced in handling cultural goods. The National Museum Complex in Iași will also provide preventive quarantine and conservation services, ensuring accessibility for researchers and the public.
