President Nicușor Dan has signed a law establishing November 19 as National Women's Entrepreneurship Day, promoting women's roles in business. Public authorities and educational institutions can organize events to celebrate this day, focusing on economic freedoms and women's contributions to economic development. The law allows for cultural, social, educational, and scientific activities to highlight women's entrepreneurship. Public institutions will also be able to produce media content related to women's entrepreneurship and economic rights. The law was adopted by the Chamber of Deputies on October 7, 2026, with significant support.
