Between October 30 and November 1, Brașov police conducted a campaign to enhance road safety by testing drivers for alcohol and drugs. Over 2,300 tests were performed, leading to significant fines and several criminal cases. The operation aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of substance use while driving and to penalize offenders. Nearly 140 officers participated, focusing on busy traffic areas. The campaign resulted in 19 high-risk situations and fines exceeding 30,000 lei, with four drivers facing criminal charges for exceeding legal alcohol limits.
