A former director of a water supply monitoring association in Olt is under judicial control for embezzlement after being detained for 24 hours. He allegedly withdrew 480,000 lei without justification from the association's accounts between January 2022 and December 2024. The investigation is led by the Economic Crime Investigation Service of Olt, supervised by a prosecutor from the Slatina Court. The suspect used a bank card to make withdrawals without proper documentation. Following the investigation, he was placed under judicial control for 60 days.
