Natalia Intotero has blocked the purchase of an aircraft worth over 20 million lei, initially proposed by former Environment Minister Diana Buzoianu. The contract was under review by the new minister, who is consulting with government colleagues about its necessity. The aircraft was intended for monitoring illegal logging and was part of the PNRR funding. However, it was removed from the PNRR list without explanation. Despite the lack of funds, the procurement process continued for 11 months, leading to a winner being announced. Intotero suggested that the contract could be signed by four other ministries that might benefit from the aircraft.
