Greek group PPC has signed an agreement to acquire the Romanian retailer Flanco for 35 million euros. This acquisition allows PPC to enter the local electro-IT retail market, taking over a network of 150 stores across Romania. Flanco, which has over 1,200 employees and an annual turnover of 269 million euros, will be integrated into PPC's strategy to combine retail with energy services. The deal is expected to be finalized by the end of 2026, pending regulatory approvals. Iulian Stanciu, Flanco's majority shareholder, stated that the partnership with PPC is essential for the company's future growth.
