A 50MW wind farm project in Dobrogea, developed by Qair, awaits establishment authorization from ANRE. The project involves the installation of seven 7MW turbines, the largest in Romania. The authorization is crucial for confirming financing for construction. Initially developed by Monsson Alma, the project was taken over by Qair, led by Jean-Marc Bouchet. Enercon will supply and install the turbines, with the first operation planned for August 2027. This partnership marks Enercon's first collaboration with Qair in Romania, utilizing the E-175 EP5 E2 turbine model, capable of generating energy at low wind speeds. The total installed wind power in Romania is approximately 3,300 MW.
