On October 31, 2026, Romanian Traffic Police suspended 487 driving licenses, with 116 for speeding and 85 for alcohol consumption. They also withdrew 395 vehicle registration certificates and responded to 2,635 incidents, half reported by citizens. Additionally, eight individuals wanted nationally and internationally were apprehended, and over 7,700 fines totaling more than 3.5 million lei were issued.
