Greek group PPC has signed an agreement to fully acquire Romanian retailer Flanco for 35 million euros through its subsidiary Kotsovolos. This acquisition aims to expand PPC's presence in Romania and diversify its activities beyond energy production and supply. Flanco operates 150 stores across over 100 cities, employing around 1,200 staff and generating an annual turnover of 269 million euros. The deal will integrate retail operations with energy services, promoting solutions like photovoltaic installations and electric vehicle charging stations. The transaction is expected to finalize by the end of 2026, pending regulatory approvals, as part of PPC's strategic plan for 2026-2030 to strengthen its position in Southeast Europe.
