The Memorial Ipotești – Mihai Eminescu National Studies Center is hosting a new edition of "Poets in Dialogue" on November 6, 2026, featuring poets Alexandru Petria and Ion Cristofor. This event aims to explore the human condition through distinct poetic expressions. Petria's work is characterized by a direct and provocative style, confronting reality with strong contrasts and irony. In contrast, Cristofor's poetry is reflective, focusing on themes of time, memory, and fragility, while engaging with lyrical tradition. The program includes a meeting with students and a poetry reading, fostering direct interaction with contemporary poetry.
