Currently, only 40% of Romanians have access to natural gas networks, highlighting significant regional disparities. Minister Marcel-Alexandru Stoica emphasized the importance of the 'Anghel Saligny' Program in expanding local gas networks, which is crucial for households facing high winter costs. The program has successfully established 35 kilometers of gas distribution networks in Luncaviţa commune. Stoica noted that this initiative is the most extensive investment program since the Revolution, aimed at improving gas access. Local authorities are optimistic about the program's impact, although challenges remain in funding and project execution.
