The Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) and the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) signed a memorandum to enhance cooperation and information exchange for civil aviation security. This agreement aims to strengthen collaboration and share best practices between the two countries. U.S. Ambassador to Romania, Darryl Nirenberg, emphasized the importance of this partnership for traveler safety. The memorandum was signed by Nirenberg and SRI's interim director, General Răzvan Ionescu, who highlighted the value of the relationship with U.S. agencies for operational and analytical activities.
