Following the departure of the Bolojan government, details emerged about former Environment Minister Diana Buzoianu's attempt to purchase a plane for 4 million euros using PNRR funds. The project was canceled by the current minister, Natalia Intotero, after the European Commission deemed the aircraft purchase environmentally harmful. Despite the funding being withdrawn, the procurement process continued for 11 months, with INOVUM SRL declared the winner. However, the contract could not be signed due to lack of funds. INOVUM SRL, which does not sell aircraft, has a history of state contracts, including various equipment supplies.
