While this funding supports essential medical services until year-end, he warned that underfunding remains a significant issue, with outstanding medical leave payments totaling around 4.5 billion lei. Rogobete criticized previous budget cuts by former Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, which he claims harmed hospitals and health programs. He emphasized that the current budgetary relief does not resolve all healthcare challenges, particularly the structural underfunding and existing debts. The additional funds will ensure critical services like emergency care can operate effectively until the end of the year.
