The Minister of Education, Sorin Costreie, announced an ongoing study to identify administrative tasks burdening teachers. Results are expected by the end of this year or early next year. The Ministry aims to determine the origins of excessive paperwork required by teachers and school directors, assessing which documents could be eliminated. The study, conducted by the Institute of Educational Sciences, involves discussions with educators and surveys from 180 schools. Costreie emphasized the need to reduce bureaucracy to allow teachers more time for students and teaching activities. The findings will inform measures to simplify administrative requirements.
