The Romanian Railway Reform Authority has received its 23rd Alstom train, which will soon be operational for passengers. This train is part of a larger project funded by EU and national resources, aimed at enhancing inter-regional rail transport services. The project includes the delivery of 37 new electric trains and is managed by the Ministry of Transport. The initiative seeks to improve connectivity between the capital and major urban centers, reducing travel times and enhancing service quality. The implementation period for the project spans two years, from January 2024 to December 2025.
