Five senators from the SOS Romania and POT parties have announced their transition to the PSD parliamentary group. They were previously unaffiliated deputies. This shift follows PSD's return to power and the dissolution of the PACE group in the Senate. Additionally, sources indicate that deputy Mădălin Faget may also join PSD, despite his current unaffiliated status. Other potential transfers to PSD include Rusu Cristian, Cosmina Cerva, and Rodica Cușnir, who are reportedly clarifying matters in parliamentary committees.
