British adventurer Karl Bushby returned home after 28 years and a 50,000-kilometer journey across four continents, without using any transport. Initially planned for 12 years, his expedition faced numerous challenges, including harsh weather and bureaucratic hurdles. Bushby began his journey with $500, inspired by a birthday card from his father. He encountered life-threatening situations, including a near-fatal fall in icy waters and imprisonment in Panama. His trek through Russia took nearly a decade due to visa issues. After swimming across the Caspian Sea and the English Channel, he finally reached the UK, where he was welcomed by a crowd. A documentary about his journey is being filmed by Werner Herzog.
