The Ministry of Finance borrowed 2.818 billion lei from banks through two bond issues, with varying maturities and yields. A total of 501.5 million lei was raised via a 10-year bond at a 7.11% yield, while 2.317 billion lei came from a 21-month bond at a 6.55% yield. Additional auctions are scheduled to raise another 422.9 million lei. For November 2026, the ministry plans to borrow 9 billion lei, which is 3.2 billion more than previously scheduled, aimed at refinancing public debt and covering budget deficits.
