The Ministry of Finance borrowed 2.818 billion lei from banks through two bond issues, with varying maturities and yields. A total of 501.5 million lei was raised from a 10-year bond at a yield of 7.11%, while 2.317 billion lei came from a 21-month bond at 6.55%. Additional auctions are scheduled to raise another 422.9 million lei. For November 2026, the ministry plans to borrow 9 billion lei, which is an increase from the previous month's planned borrowing of 5.8 billion lei, aimed at refinancing public debt and covering the state budget deficit.
