Oil Terminal employees resolved their collective labor conflict after salary increases were approved, as announced by the company. The Romanian state, through the Ministry of Energy, holds the majority stake in the company. A conciliation meeting took place on October 31, 2026, following the government's approval of a memorandum for a 6.5% salary increase, amounting to 1.752 million lei, for November and December 2026. The union initiated the conflict in August due to failed negotiations over the salary increase, which was below the current inflation rate. Oil Terminal is the largest oil terminal in Constanța port, providing essential services for oil and petroleum products.
