BYD, the world's largest electric vehicle manufacturer, reported a sixth consecutive month of sales growth in October, driven by increased reliance on foreign markets amid weak domestic demand. Sales rose by 11% year-on-year to 490,168 vehicles, while international deliveries surged by 102.8%. Despite a 28% annual profit increase in Q3, this fell short of analyst expectations due to heightened competition and price wars. China's decision to moderate hybrid vehicle exports to the EU may impact BYD, a key exporter in this segment. Analysts predict only modest recovery in China's auto sales next year after a significant decline this year. In the first nine months, BYD's car sales in Europe increased by 134.6%.
