The Danube's flow at Baziaș is expected to rise to 1,800 mc/s next week, remaining below the November average of 4,700 mc/s. In the lower sections, flows will increase, except for the first day when they will stabilize. Hydrologists predict a maximum flow of 2,000 mc/s and a minimum of 1,400 mc/s for November. This year's low water levels led to the shutdown of two reactors at the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant. Rainfall is expected to increase river flows in southern Romania, with potential local flooding risks. Overall, November's hydrological regime will be between 30-50% of the multiannual averages, with some rivers exceeding 50%.
