Hundreds of thousands of retirees will not receive additional pension increases during the indexation scheduled for January 1, 2027. The pension indexation percentage is still unknown, but it is confirmed that some retirees, particularly those with minimum pensions or those who had work groups, will not benefit from any increase. The Ministry of Labor proposed a 7.3% increase, while the Ministry of Finance suggested 5%. Many retirees currently receiving minimum pensions are already supplemented to reach the minimum amount, which means they will not see any additional funds during the upcoming indexation. This situation affects nearly one million retirees who will remain at their current pension levels despite the planned adjustments.
