Archaeologists from the Moravian Museum in Brno discovered a rare Bronze Age artifact, a casting mold, dating back over 3,000 years in a Czech village. The stone was initially found in 2007 by a local resident in his garden. The mold, used for creating spearheads, was analyzed using visual examinations and X-ray techniques. It consists of two stone pieces, with only one remaining, and was likely made from volcanic rock sourced from the Carpathians. Researchers suggest the material may have traveled long distances through prehistoric trade networks.
