Ilie Bolojan, the leader of the PNL, visited Timișoara for a working meeting with local party members while USR held its congress. This was not his first visit this year, as he previously met with local officials to discuss administrative issues. During the same weekend, USR elected its new leadership, with Radu Miruță's faction gaining significant influence. Additionally, PSD leaders attended a baptism celebration for Alfred Simonis's child, featuring performances by renowned artist Al Bano.
