The Pro Infrastructure Association estimates that the Nădășelu-Zimbor section of the Transylvania Highway may open around December 15. Completion of works on diversions in Nădășelu and Topa Mică is expected within a month and a half, depending on weather conditions. The Turkish company Ozaltin is ahead of schedule, while UMB is facing delays. Once opened, drivers will have access to over 155 kilometers of uninterrupted highway to Târgu Mureș. The contract for this section was signed in December 2020, with an initial completion date set for December 2023.
