Three Ukrainian citizens were rescued in Romania after crossing the border through the Maramureș Mountains, suffering from severe exhaustion. They had been on the road for seven days and were found near Pop Ivanu Peak. The rescuers provided them with food and warm drinks before assisting their descent. Their evacuation was complicated by inadequate footwear and slippery terrain. The intervention concluded with their handover to the Border Police, and they did not require further medical assistance.
