Traffic on Lot 3 of the A0 North Highway in Bucharest will open only after safety conditions are met, with ongoing works for protective barriers and road markings. The National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR) confirmed that the opening will depend on the completion of these essential safety elements. Previously, it was announced that traffic would start on October 26, but this has been postponed due to remaining works. The Ilfov County Council stated that traffic on A0 North will be operational by the end of the year. Lot 3, built by the Chinese contractor CCECC, is 98.35% complete and spans 8.6 km, with a contract value of approximately 398 million lei.
