The Danube's flow at Baziaș is expected to gradually increase to about 1,800 cubic meters per second, remaining significantly below the November average. Hydrologists predict fluctuations between 1,400 and 2,000 mc/s for the month. Following a challenging summer with record low levels, the situation has affected energy production at the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant. Rainfall in southern regions may lead to local flooding and increased river levels. Overall, rivers in Romania are projected to have only 30% to 50% of their usual flow for November, with some areas experiencing even lower levels.
