Al Bano Carrisi, the Italian singer, has stirred controversy with his pro-Russian statements and recent performances. He called for peace and criticized sanctions against Russia, claiming the country has Italian ties. His comments have drawn mixed reactions, including criticism for performing in Israel amid ongoing conflict. Al Bano previously sued Michael Jackson for alleged plagiarism, a case that lasted nearly a decade and ended unfavorably for him. Despite this, he continues to assert he won the case. He plans to perform in Moscow once the war ends, expressing a desire for unity through music.
