The chatbot will automatically end conversations that show an obsession with violence and may temporarily suspend accounts after repeated discussions on the topic. OpenAI has improved its age estimation system to redirect users under 18 to a teen-specific version of ChatGPT. Additionally, the company will limit information about past mass shootings and notify parents when their teen's account is suspended for discussing violence. Implementation of these measures will begin shortly after the announcement.
