The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, announced plans to meet with representatives from the National Agency for Medicines and the National Health Insurance House to update the list of compensated medications. The goal is to expedite administrative procedures for adding new medications by the end of the year, ensuring more patients have access to necessary treatments. Rogobete emphasized that access to innovative treatments should not be hindered by political disputes or bureaucracy. Following a recent budget adjustment, the health budget will be increased by 8.3 billion lei, with some funds allocated to national health programs.
