A 32-year-old man was arrested for stabbing a ride-sharing driver during a payment dispute. The incident occurred in Sector 5 of the capital on October 30-31. The victim, a 52-year-old Syrian, was attacked after requesting payment for the ride. Under the influence of alcohol, the suspect became aggressive and used a sharp object to injure the driver. Police were alerted around 3 AM and confirmed the incident. The victim received first aid and was taken to the hospital. The assailant was initially detained for 24 hours and later placed under preventive arrest. Investigations are ongoing for assault-related charges.
