The National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management has issued flood warnings, extending the orange alert to rivers in Vâlcea and Argeș counties, in addition to Gorj and Mehedinți. Hydrologists predict rapid floods and significant increases in water levels. The orange alert is valid from November 1, 18:00 to November 2, 12:00, affecting several river basins. A yellow alert has also been updated for other areas, while warnings for previously affected basins have been lifted. Potentially dangerous phenomena may occur on lesser tributaries and uncategorized watercourses in the affected basins.
