A tragic accident occurred near Lazaret, resulting in the deaths of a mother and grandmother, while a young man was injured. The incident happened around 1 AM, prompting a Red Intervention Plan. A 50-year-old woman driving towards Râmnicu Vâlcea collided head-on with a truck, causing her vehicle to hit another car. The impact was severe, leading to the immediate deaths of the driver and a 72-year-old passenger. The 21-year-old male passenger was hospitalized but is stable. He was in shock upon learning of his family's loss and later chose to return home as preparations for the funeral began.
