Two men from Alba, aged 48 and 51, were arrested for cultivating and selling cannabis. Their request for house arrest was denied by the Tribunal of Alba. Following seven home searches, authorities discovered numerous cannabis plants and related paraphernalia. The investigation revealed that they had been involved in drug trafficking for three years, selling cannabis at prices ranging from 25 to 70 lei per gram. The operation was dismantled by DIICOT and BCCO Alba Iulia, highlighting organized crime in the region.
