Corneliu Mureșan has been appointed as the prefect of Alba County during a government meeting led by Prime Minister Luca Niculescu. His appointment follows the release of Nicolae Albu from the same position. The government has appointed a total of 29 prefects and 15 deputy prefects while dismissing 52 officials.
